Successful PhD Defense by ACSD Researcher Dustin Kern on Cybersecurity for EV Charging

The ACSD research group is proud to announce that Dustin Kern has successfully defended his PhD thesis on "Cyber Attack Prevention and Detection for Electric Vehicle Charging" on March 26, 2025. This collaborative PhD project was conducted between Hochschule Darmstadt (Prof. Dr. Christoph Krauß) and TU Darmstadt (Prof. Dr. Matthias Hollick). We sincerely thank Prof. Hollick for the excellent collaboration in supervising the thesis. Special thanks also to Prof. Dr. Stefan Katzenbeisser (Passau University) for serving as an additional reviewer, as well as to the esteemed committee members, Prof. Dr. Björn Scheuermann and Prof. Dr. Florian Steinke, for their valuable contributions.
