Detection of e-Mobility-based Attacks on the Power Grid
Information and communication technology is now an essential component of both power grids and the e-mobility infrastructure. However, this also opens up new opportunities for attacks. For example, an attacker who has compromised a large number of charging points and electric vehicles could attack the power grid through targeted charging processes. In the paper "Detection of e-Mobility-based Attacks on the Power Grid", ACSD researchers propose a new hybrid IDS for detecting attacks on the power grid via e-mobility. The IDS consists of a rule-based IDS and a component for anomaly detection using regression-based forecasting. The paper is available here .
