As part of the Digital City Darmstadt initiative, the EST working group has access to the Darmstadt IoT network during the test phase. Using LoRa technology, this offers the possibility of transmitting low-energy data transmissions, e.g. from sensors, over several kilometres. We are currently evaluating the technology and its potential applications. To this end, we also assign current issues as student projects. Please contact us for current topics.
