FLL regional competition on 17.01.2026

In the afternoon, there will be an opportunity to watch the Robot Games. This competition category will be held in building C20 on the Darmstadt campus of h_da. There will also be an attractive supporting programme.

The FIRST LEGO League is an international educational programme. It was initiated in 1998 by the American foundation FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) and the LEGO company. In Germany, Austria and Switzerland, the non-profit organisation HANDS on TECHNOLOGY e.V. has been organising the educational programme since 2002.

FIRST LEGO League, with its two programmes Explore and Challenge, accompanies and inspires pupils over several years and has a lasting impact on their skills in the areas of STEM, teamwork and communication.

In the 2025/26 season, the faculty of computer science at the university is once again participating as a regional partner for the Darmstadt region. The competition will take place on 17 January 2026 at the university.
