FLL regional competition on 25.01.2025

On 25 January 2025, the FLL Regional Challenge Competition will take place for the second time at the Department of Computer Science.

In the afternoon there will be the opportunity to watch the Robot Games. This competition category will be held in C20. There will also be an attractive supporting programme.

FIRST LEGO League is an international educational programme. It was initiated in 1998 by the American foundation FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) and the LEGO company. In Germany, Austria and Switzerland, the non-profit organisation HANDS on TECHNOLOGY e.V. has been organising the educational programme since 2002.

FIRST LEGO League, with its two programmes Explore and Challenge, accompanies and inspires pupils over several years and has a lasting impact on their skills in the areas of STEM, teamwork and communication.

In the 2024/25 season, the faculty of computer science at the university is once again participating as a regional partner for the Darmstadt region. The competition will take place on 25 January 2025 at the university.
