2nd place in the CAST IT Security Award 2022

Master's thesis by Johanna Henrich honoured

On 10 October, the final round of the CAST IT Security Award 2022 took place as part of the Hesse Cybersecurity Summit in Wiesbaden. Our Master's graduate Johanna Henrich took 2nd place in the category "Best Master's Thesis" with her thesis "Performance Evaluation of PQC in TLS 1.3 under Varying Network Characteristics". Congratulations to her.

The Competence Centre for Applied Security Technology - CAST for short - is a registered non-profit association and has been offering a platform for exchange, training and consulting in the field of IT security for more than 20 years. In addition, one of CAST's particular concerns is the promotion of young IT security professionals. The prize was established in 2001 and has been awarded annually to outstanding final theses in the field of IT security ever since.
