FLL regional competition on 20.01.2024

On 20 January 2024, the FLL Regional Challenge Competition will take place for the first time at the FB Computer Science.

In the afternoon (from approx. 1 p.m.) there will be the opportunity to watch the Robot Games. This competition category will be held in C20.

FIRST LEGO League is an international educational programme. It was initiated in 1998 by the American foundation FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) and the LEGO company. In Germany, Austria and Switzerland, the non-profit organisation HANDS on TECHNOLOGY e.V. has been organising the educational programme since 2002.

FIRST LEGO League, with its two programmes Explore and Challenge, accompanies and inspires pupils over several years and has a lasting impact on their skills in the areas of STEM, teamwork and communication.

In the 2023/24 season, the faculty of computer science at the university is participating for the first time as a regional partner for the Darmstadt region. The competition will take place on 20 January 2024 at the university.
