In silent mourning, we bid farewell to our colleague

In silent mourning, we bid farewell to our colleague

Prof Dr Johannes Arz

who passed away on 1 August at the age of 68.

Prof Arz was a professor of programming and artificial intelligence at the Faculty of Computer Science for 27 years. For many years, he chaired the examination board in the self-administration. He played a key role in setting up the CNAM study programme, which was run jointly with the Conservatoire nationale des arts et métiers in Paris. We have come to appreciate him as a valuable member of the faculty and will honour his memory.

Our condolences go out to his family and loved ones.
