New professors at the Faculty of Computer Science in summer semester 2025

The faculty welcomes six new professors for the summer semester 2025.

On 1 April 2025, the Faculty of Computer Science gained new professors:

• Professor Dr Fabio Campos has accepted the appointment as Professor of Applied Cyber Security and Foundations of Computer Science.
• Professor Andreas Heß previously taught at the Media faculty at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences and is now working at the Computer Science faculty in the field of "Application Development and Fundamentals of Computer Science".
• Professor Dr Peter Kling has strengthened the faculty with his professorship in "Theoretical Computer Science and Foundations of Computer Science".
• Professor Dr Ralf Kundel is now Professor of Computer Engineering and Computer Science Fundamentals at the faculty.
• Professor Dr Mathias Schnee has been a deputy professor at the faculty since the summer semester 2023. Since this semester, he has held the professorship for "Computer Engineering and the Foundations of Computer Science".
• Professor Dr Marcus Zinn will join the faculty this semester as Professor of Software Engineering and Foundations of Computer Science.
