In addition to his teaching activities, he heads an interdisciplinary research project to set up a digital apiary – a real-world laboratory with a digital twin that links ecological data with modern sensor technology and AI. The apiary is available to students and researchers from all disciplines and promotes sustainability, data science and systemic thinking.
