The Applied Cyber Security Darmstadt research group at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences is headed by Prof Dr Christoph Krauß and Prof Dr Alexander Wiesmaier.

We specialise in the protection of IT systems and applications in the automotive, railway, computer networks, embedded systems, IoT and cloud environments. Our application-oriented and user-friendly solutions are based on the use, adaptation or new development of cryptographic technologies.

The Applied Cyber Security research group is affiliated with the IT Security group at the Computer Science faculty of Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences.
