The Examination Board is responsible for all Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes offered by the faculty of Computer Science. The duties of the Examination Board are derived from the General Provisions for Examination Regulations (APBO §24) of Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences. These duties include, amongst other things,

• monitoring compliance with examination regulations
• deciding on applications for the recognition of academic achievements
• deciding on the fulfilment of admission requirements for Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes
• approving the final thesis, appointing the supervisor and co-supervisor, and assigning the final thesis topic
• advising on and deciding on applications from students for exemptions from the general provisions of the applicable course outline and examination regulations
• advising teaching staff and students on matters relating to examination regulations
