Yes, it is essential, as we use the h_da online systems several times a week. To be able to follow all the information, a laptop is important. Recommendations for the laptop can be found on this page.

Apart from the laptop, nothing is absolutely necessary. Other things that are useful include

• Something to take notes (e.g. mobile phone, laptop or notepad)
• Student card (preferably topped up in advance with money for the canteen)
• Possibly cash so that you can also pay in the café

Yes, you should definitely go to the ESE. Many important things for the start of your studies will be explained there, you will get to know your fellow students, you will be told how to register for courses and exams and, of course, there will also be a party!

It also makes sense for first-time Master's students to come to the ESE, as you will be shown around the campus just like first-time Bachelor's students, get to know your fellow students and be shown how everything works at h_da.

No problem! In this case, please contact the student council ese.fbi@h-da.de or the Mentys, then further steps can be clarified.

No, the courses are taken during the ESE with the Mentys. Please bring your laptops with you.

If you have any further questions, please contact ese.fbi@h-da.de or the Mentys during the ESE.
