Business informatics

Arbeitsgruppe Studierende vor Bildschirm

The Business Information Systems department of the computer science faculty at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences coordinates the range of courses, the conception of events and the cooperation between the faculty and practical companies in the field of business information systems. Business Information Systems is an interdisciplinary field of computer science with a focus on the design, development, introduction and operation of business information systems.

Both in the Bachelor's degree courses and in the specialisation Master's degree course, students have the opportunity to specialise in Business Information Systems by taking the relevant subjects in this subject area.

Qualifications in business informatics have been in high demand on the labour market for many years. The department is working on further expanding the range of subjects on offer in this area. Various projects give students the opportunity to put what they have learnt into practice.
